1. Data controller

This policy is drawn up pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and concerns this website only.

2. What data we collect

Order data: first and last name, shipping and billing address, e-mail address, telephone number, order contents and amount. Payment card details are handled directly by the payment provider and are never stored by us.
Contact data: what you write to us by e-mail or through the contact form.
Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit, referring website. This data is collected automatically by the platform for security and statistical purposes.
Cookie preferences: the choices you make in the cookie banner.

Data marked as required at checkout is necessary to conclude and perform the contract: without it we cannot process your order.

3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling producing legal effects concerning you.

4. Who we share your data with

Your data is processed by the controller and by authorised personnel bound by confidentiality. It may be disclosed to third parties who provide services on our behalf, appointed as data processors under Article 28 GDPR:

Shopify International Ltd. — e-commerce platform, hosting and checkout;
Aruba S.p.A. — domain registration, DNS and the e-mail service through which correspondence with customers passes;
payment providers shown at checkout, which process payment data as independent controllers;
couriers and logistics operators, for delivery;
accounting and tax advisors, for invoicing and statutory obligations;
IT service providers, for maintenance of the website.

Your data is never sold, and is not disclosed to the public.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of the providers listed above may process data outside the EEA. In that case the transfer takes place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or of the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the Commission, together with any additional safeguards required. You may request a copy of the safeguards in place by writing to the address in section 1.

6. How long we keep it

Order and contract data: for the duration of the contract and thereafter for the statutory limitation periods.
Accounting and tax records: 10 years, as required by Italian law.
Contact correspondence: up to 2 years from the last exchange.
Cookie preferences: as stated in section 8.

At the end of the retention period, data is deleted or anonymised, unless further legal obligations apply.

7. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to access your data, to obtain its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise these rights, write to segreteria@beachtennischool.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the website you are visiting. This website uses the cookies described below.

Strictly necessary cookies

These make the site work: they keep your cart, secure the checkout, balance server load and remember your language and country selection. They do not require consent and cannot be disabled without breaking the site. They are set by the Shopify platform and include, among others:

cart, cart_ts, cart_ver, cart_sig, cart_currency — contents and status of your shopping cart;
checkout, checkout_token, secure_customer_sig, _secure_session_id, secret — checkout session and security;
storefront_digest — access to a password-protected store;
localization — the country and language you selected;
keep_alive — continuity of the browsing session;
_tracking_consent, _cmp_a — the cookie preferences you expressed, so that your choice can be honoured.

Analytics cookies

These allow us to count visits and understand how the store is used, in aggregate form. They are set by Shopify as part of the platform's own analytics and include _shopify_y, _shopify_s, _y, _s, _shopify_sa_t, _shopify_sa_p, _landing_page and _orig_referrer. Where the applicable law requires it, they are set only after you have given consent through the cookie banner.

Advertising and third-party tracking

This website does not currently use advertising, remarketing or profiling cookies, and does not embed third-party analytics or advertising tools. Should this change, this policy will be updated before any such tool is activated, and consent will be requested where required.

Managing your preferences

You can give or withdraw consent at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that deleting strictly necessary cookies will prevent the store from working correctly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the services we use or in applicable law. The current version is always the one published on this page.
